Salute to America July 4, 2020
Vintage aircraft also known as “Warbirds” are proud to take part in the 2020 July 4th celebration in Washington DC. In a flyby of the White House, private owners and Aircraft Museums will showcase their historic aircraft in tribute to our nation’s history and those who served our great nation during World War II, and Korea. Major funding, for these aircraft, is being provided by the Scotts Miracle Gro Company. Included in the flyby are a B-17, B25s, C47s, P51 Mustangs, Corsair, A26 and an F86. This is an impressive lineup of historic military aircraft operated by individuals and museums throughout the country. The Vintage “Warbirds” will be followed by current military aircraft recognizing Vietnam and beyond in what is certain be a memorable prelude to the annual fire works display.
