The Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society – VAHS Northern Neck-Middle Peninsula Chapter, July 20th, 2023 Meeting

The Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society – VAHS Northern Neck-Middle Peninsula Chapter Presents: “Tee” Mans, one of our own members!

Thursday, July 20th, 11:30 a.m. at the Pilot House Restaurant

Tee is an Air Force F-4 Phantom fighter jet pilot and will share info about the F-4 and his Air Force experiences in it. Please join us TOMORROW for Tee’s presentation!

The exact jet that he flew is on display at the City of Hampton’s outdoor museum Air Power Park on Mercury Blvd., which was featured in the program at last month’s meeting and showcases aircraft testing and early space exploration history.

George Galo and Nancy Miller have turned over the “reigns to the planes.” They are the best leaders and supporters, propping me up as I try to hold the group together until we can put together a team of us to do all the behind the scenes work that they have done together for the last dozen+ years. Tons of thanks to both of them!

THANKS for your support, and please help out with team leadership and suggestions!

– Jody Nelson, INTERIM Co-Pilot

We meet on the third Thursday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at the Pilot House, adjacent to Hummel Field Airport on Route 3 in Topping, VA, about a mile south of the Norris Bridge over the Rappahannock River.

We have social time to meet and chat and then the great buffet lunch. It is an all-inclusive price for beverage, soup, salad, veggies, main courses, dessert, and tip.

We have presentations of a wide variety of informative civilian and military aviation related programs, and we always hear and see the most interesting things from our speakers!

Many are local gems who share their amazing experiences and pieces of local, state, national, and even international events and history! It’s an honor and a privilege to learn their first hand experiences!

PLEASE JOIN US AND ENJOY THE GREAT PRESENTATIONS AND SOCIAL TIME TOGETHER!
