Support the Tuskegee Airmen
MISSION
Through education, youth initiatives, and more, we aim to honor and perpetuate the achievements of the Tuskegee Airmen.
The Tuskegee Airmen were a group of pilots who overcame racism and prejudice, becoming decorated war heroes of WWII. From Dogfights, Season 2, “Tuskegee Airmen.”
About The Tuskegee Airmen
As the Tuskegee Airmen Inc. (TAI) we focus on honoring the accomplishments and perpetuating the history of African Americans who participated in air crew, ground crew and operations support training in the Army Air Corps during WWII.
Our ongoing and national programs like Young Eagles and other TAI activities help to foster excitement and introduce young people across the nation to the world of aviation and science.
We’re dedicated to providing educational assistance to students and awards to those whose deeds lend support to TAI’s goals. TAI also supports the Tuskegee Airmen Award – presented to deserving cadets in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Program.
