SILENT FALCON DEBUTS NEW FACILITY

Silent Falcon UAS Technologies hosted an open house December 15 to showcase its new East Coast headquarters at Front Royal Warren County Airport. The company converted a former box hangar at the airport to serve as a research, development and manufacturing center. The project was announced in December 2020

Based in Albuquerque, N.M., Silent Falcon™ is a solar/electric-powered small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) jointly developed by Silent Falcon UAS Technologies, Bye Aerospace, and Ascent Solar. It can be used in commercial, public safety, law enforcement and military applications. It’s commercial applications include mapping and surveying airports.

Company officials welcomed a number of local and state officials, including DOAV Director Mark Flynn, to tour the new space from which they will operate.
