Alfred served valiantly in the U.S. Navy during World War II. In this video White talks candidly about his service in the Pacific Theater. He spent much time fueling up FM2 Wildcats and TBM Avengers which participated in well known events such as the Marianas Turkey Shoot and the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
