Photos from the Women Can Fly Event Warrenton
Folks,
Over the last few weeks, the airport has had a flurry of events and activity to make your head spin. One of the biggest events on our calendar each year (with the exception of the COVID two year hiatus) is the Women Can Fly event. Sarah Patten, the coordinator and main energy behind this event, sent out a missive with a link to the pictures taken during the event to the volunteers and those interested in the event. I am sharing with all of you so you can see the excited faces on the girls as they experience the thrill of flight. Enjoy. If you are looking for something to get involved with, it is only one day a year and very rewarding. Consider signing up next year to help out.
Cheers,
Dave Darrah

I hope you’ve all been well! A number of people have asked about the photos taken by Alex Hrapunov, our event photographer. He does a fantastic job each year of capturing the event; we’re very lucky to have him! You can find his work from this year’s event here, in the folder titled “Photos by Alex Hrapunov”
Thank you again for all of your help in making the day such a success. With a two year break and a move to the new FBO, I had no idea what to expect going into the day. Each and every one of you pitched in to help make the day run more smoothly than I could have possibly hoped for, and I’m incredibly grateful to get to work with such a great bunch of people. I really appreciate your help, and I look forward to seeing all of you again soon!
Thanks, and take care!
Sarah
