VAHS Northern Neck-Middle Peninsula Chapter Meeting
May 19 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The monthly luncheon for our Chapter is this week, Thursday May 19th, at our normal location, the Pilot House restaurant. Our social gathering will begin at 11:30 am, lunch and formal start will be at noon, and our program will begin when lunch is over.
The program will be a presentation of the Military Aviation Museum located in Virginia Beach, VA. The museum has many historic airworthy military aircraft and hosts an annual Warbirds Over the Beach Airshow open to the public. The presentation will include a DVD with excerpts of the 2012 airshow. A museum staff member was originally scheduled to attend but will not be present due to a schedule conflict.
Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society – Northern Neck-Middle Peninsula Chapter meets at the Pilot House, Hummel Field, in Topping, Virginia in the “Eagle’s Nest” at 12 Noon on the third Thursday of each month unless otherwise posted. Pilots can fly-in and park at the door of the restaurant. Visitors are welcome at these luncheon meetings. There is an interesting speaker from the field of aviation each month. Come visit the “Eagle’s Nest” at any time and see the collection of aviation art and other memorabilia.
