Harvest Festival Fly-In

Fellow VAHS Members,

This is a special notification and request for
attendance/participation at the Shannon Airport Harvest Festival and
Fly-In.  See attached flyer for details.  This is a wonderful family
event especially for younger children.  I supported the festival two
years when I was a docent at the Shannon Air Museum.  I only saw happy
faces in the crowd and the kids were absolutely thrilled by the candy
drop.  Proceeds from the event go to a very worthy cause – the Shannon
Air Museum Genesis of Flight Experience for students.

Luke Curtas, President Shannon Air Museum LLC has graciously offered
VAHS space at the event.  We will have a table with a very interesting
and educational Hall of Fame and archives display.  I need a minimum
of three volunteers please to work with me to advocate for Virginia
aviation history preservation and solicit memberships and donations.

Please plan to attend and support VAHS and the Shannon Air Museum.

All the best,

Richard (Dick) Genaille
