Sunny skies and free airplane rides brought smiles to the faces of many at the annual Women Can Fly event at Hampton Roads Executive Airport on Saturday, June 11. They did all kinds of non-combat flying during the war, from ferrying planes to towing targets so they could be shot at with live ammunition.
